VANESSA LEAMY CORSINI

Vanessa Leamy Corsini began her dance training in her native Florence, studying classical ballet from a young age under the guidance of Cinzia Vannini and Marga Nativo. Alongside ballet she explored other movement traditions including contemporary dance and flamenco before discovering Argentine tango.

Drawn to the depth, musicality and improvisational dialogue of the dance, she has dedicated herself to the study and teaching of authentic Argentine tango for many years.

Now based in Scotland, Vanessa has been teaching tango for over ten years. Her work focuses on developing strong foundations for the social dance floor, with an emphasis on musicality, connection and clarity of movement.

Alongside teaching, she actively contributes to the growth of the local tango scene by organising events and inviting international teachers to share their knowledge, helping to create opportunities for dancers to learn, connect and develop within the community.
